Alvina Jo Seabury, 52, of Sedalia passed into eternity on Friday August 26, 2016 at Rest Haven Retirement Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 1 PM at Burns Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Sedalia. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM, Friday, at the church.

Alvina Jo was born on May 8, 1964 in Sedalia, Missouri to Arthur and Patsy Seabury.

She attended Smith-Cotton High School, where she graduated from in 1983. She was employed by the Pettis County Juvenile Detention Center and most recently Bridges of America. She had one son Myron Seabury of Sedalia. Alvina was a social butterfly, who never met a stranger. She loved music and was a very giving person.

She is survived by her son Myron Seabury (Virgil Wright) of Sedalia, father Arthur Seabury Sr. of Sedalia, six siblings Charles Lee of Columbia, Beverly Estill of Sedalia, Patricia Frazier of Kansas City, Ava Seabury of Sedalia, Arthur Seabury Jr. of Kansas City, Veronica Harian of Dallas, Texas, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The family would like to give special recognition to Kathy Elliston and the prayer warriors, Gene Robinson, and Diane Clark.

She was preceded in death by her mother Patsy Seabury, sister Francis Miller, and nephew Dwayne Miller.
